Ender 7 Z Axis Linear Rail Upgrade Kit - Rear Mount Only - Digital Download

This kit converts an Ender 7 bed travel from v-wheels to dual linear rails.  It helps eliminate bed wobble when printing at higher speeds.

Designed for MGN12H blocks with a 20 mm x 20 mm M3 hole spacing with linear rails lengths from 330 mm to 400 mm. 

This kit uses the stock bed backer plate that comes with an Ender 7.

(8) M3x12 socket cap screws

(4) M4x20 mm socket cap screws

(4) M5x10 mm socket cap screws

(2) M3x25 socket caps screws

(4) M5x8x7 heated nut insert

(1) M4x8x6 heated nut insert

(26) M3x8 socket cap screws (more if using longer than 330 mm linear rails)

Rear Mount Only - Digital Download

*The maximum theoretical z travel is 285 mm.  This is the mechanical limit of the kit, however there are a lot of variables that can reduce the max travel of this kit.  Leveling spring compression height.  Linear rail placement if you are using the shorter 330 mm long linear rails.  Anti-backlash nut height and spring compression.  Did you change from springs to silicone/rubber bed mounts?  Nozzle stick-out.  Do you have an aftermarket hot end?  Etc.  250 mm z travel is a safe distance to account for all of the above.  When you install this kit on your printer you may find that the overall travel of the z axis will be over the stated 250 mm.  After this kit is installed, level the bed, home all axis, raise the bed to the point where the nozzle just touches the bed, either measure from the bottom of the anti-backlash nut to the top of the stepper-leadscrew coupler or use the display and move the z axis down manually to find your maximum travel.  Change the printer settings in your slicer to account for the new z travel limit.
